Why This One
Today's number, without the homework
Most trackers make you type every ingredient before you can eat. This one starts with a photo and gets out of your way.
Scan a Meal
Snap a photo and get a calorie and macro estimate in seconds — or scan a barcode for packaged food. Adjust the portion with one slider if it's off.
Exercise Earns It Back
Log a walk, a run, a ride — or let Apple Health import it automatically — and watch the calories credit straight back into today's budget in real time.
One Calm Ring
Today's whole day — eaten, earned, budget — on one ring. No red guilt-tinted warnings, just an honest number that updates as your day goes.
Kept-Promise Streak
Every day you stay within budget counts toward your streak — a quiet, encouraging record of the promise you're keeping to yourself.
Progress Over Time
Weight trend, weekly patterns, and a simple photo log — same spot, same pose, once a week — so change is visible, not just felt.
Works Offline
No signal at the gym or the grocery store? Scans queue locally and sync the moment you're back online — nothing lost, nothing to redo.
Under the Hood
Built to Be Wrong Less Often
Atwater cross-check on every scan
Every AI estimate is re-derived from its own protein, carbs, fat and alcohol grams and rejected if that energy total disagrees with the stated calories by more than 25%, so a hallucinated number never reaches the log. The 7 kcal/g ethanol term is part of the check, which is why a glass of wine passes instead of being reported as "no food in the photo".
Leftovers can only subtract
Photograph what's left on the plate and each macro is clamped to what was already logged, so a second AI estimate can never make the meal bigger — the adjusted total only ever shrinks, and the app flags when clamping had to happen rather than hiding it.
Nutrition panels read on-device
When a barcode has no match, the camera switches to the printed panel and Apple's Vision reads it on the phone at full resolution — no network call, no AI, no scan spent. Numbers are taken line by line instead of from a merged block of text, and a macro row that didn't read stays blank rather than being logged as 0 g.
Queued scans survive a relaunch
A scan that fails on the network writes its photo and note to disk at the moment of failure and retries later, even after the app is killed. The restored estimate still opens the correction sheet — nothing is logged that you haven't seen and approved.
How We Compare
Built for the People Who Quit Food Diaries
Photo-scan apps made logging fast; classic food diaries made it thorough. I Want To & I Will is built for the part both skip — what happens when you don't finish the plate, and what exercise actually earns you back.
